311 @ Festival Pier - Philadelphia, PA - July 13, 2010
Last week I went to my favorite band's show at the Festival Pier in Philly. What an amazing fucking show! The boys were definitely on point. If you have never heard 311, or even if you have, I suggest checking them out. Amazing.

I had a photo pass for the show, and here are a few of my favorite photos:
I took almost 400 photos and got about 130 decent ones. If you'd like to see them, check out my facebook!

Will you go to the prom with me?

Another prom I went to was so awful. The hall it was in smelled like old people, the decorations looked like they were from the dollar store, and the balloons just looked down right sad. I almost was expecting to see them have sad faces drawn on them. I understand not every school has the money to throw their prom in a fancy country club, but seriously? I'm pretty sure having the prom in the school gym so you could afford better decorations at least would have been way cooler. The prom itself was a pretty boring one. Except, that there were two cops guarding the door. The one was telling us stories. He told us one where at a high school there was this kid (let's call him Bully), who everyone thought was a tough guy. One day, he waited in a hallway for another kid to pass by so he could beat him up. Later, the cop had to watch the surveillance video to see what had happened. Bully was hiding as kid came down the hall. Bully jumps out and starts hitting kid. Only, Bully is surprised because kid kicks Bully's ass. Bully then shits his pants, literally. The cop also said Bully was wearing shorts. You get the picture.
At the same prom, all the dude's decided to take off their shirts and just wear their tux vests. It looked like I had just walked into a gay club. Also, there was a coat closet in the hallway we were sitting in. There were crowds of kids standing in front of our table for quite awhile so I didn't notice anyone go into the closet. However, I most definitely noticed two kids coming out of it....sweaty. The thing that pisses me off is the principal literally walked into the closet a few SECONDS after the kids walked out. She totally missed them! What an entertaining sight that would have been to see them get caught. Yea, I'm an asshole. So what?
I just hope tonight has something entertaining happen. I can only sit for so long and wonder why some of these parents let their girls come out looking like hookers.

Hair cuts and fish heads.
I got my hair cut today. I needed it, I was starting to grow a mullet. The woman cut it super short. I almost cried when I got back to my car. I think I was over exaggerating. To me, it looked like this:
(Why do I only have one arm? And anyone else think my head/hair looks like a fish?)
This is what it really looks like: (Notice my extremely happy face.)
So...its not as bad as I thought. It pretty much looks like all the hair cuts I get, so no one will probably even notice I got it cut. Fucking assholes.

Happy Birthday Nick Hexum!
Nick Hexum, from the band 311, turns 40 today! I have been a huge fan of the band since I was 16yrs old. It's crazy to think its been that long, and also makes me somewhat sad that we're all getting old. Anyway, Happy Birthday Nick! I still haven't forgiven you for getting married to someone other than me. I mean, I've had a crush on you since I was 16. I think I deserve your weiner in my butt at least once. Just sayin'
