'Chance'

Chance is a screwball romantic comedy about one nutty girl's search for Mr. Right (in all the wrong places). Using a non-linear framework, Chance explores the inner-workings of a young woman's mind through a pastiche of flashbacks, direct to camera monologues and complete surreality.
In 2002, Amber Benson (Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) starred, wrote, directed and produced this  movie. James Marsters also starred in the film. I rented it last night, and I enjoyed it. Its a independant, low-budget film and it shows, not that that's a bad thing. The acting is quirky and kind of bad, I imagine on purpose, which makes the film entertaining. It made me feel like I was watching a movie my friends and I had made. I laughed quite a lot, espeicially at James Marsters. His character, Simon, by far is the best one in my opinion. Perhaps I'm a little biased though because I want to have his babies. If you're a big Buffy, Amber or James Marsters fan I think you'll enjoy watching this. Or if you dig low-budget films, I suggest it as well.
